Law & Grace - Episode 4

Romans 5:13

“To be sure, sin was in the world before the law was given, but sin is not charged against anyoneʼs account where there is no law.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭5:13‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Ted discusses his perspective on law and grace. What does it look like when we end up in the middle?

Mark 2:15

“While Jesus was having dinner at Leviʼs house, many tax collectors and sinners were eating with him and his disciples, for there were many who followed him.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭2:15‬ ‭NIV‬‬

What would it look like if we applied just as much grace as we applied law or applied just as much law as we applied grace?

Ted shares about a specific example of law and grace scenarios in Nicaragua. He also talks about forgiveness and his own experiences learning to forgive.

Matthew 18:22

“Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭18:22‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Love keeps no record of wrongs.

“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭13:4-5‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Prayer Requests:
- Filing for residency
- Prayer & protection over Teddy III
- The children at Brazos de Amore (live in & outreach)
- Continued Support and Financial Resources

Final Thoughts:
1 Corinthians 15:1-2

“Now, brothers and sisters, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand. By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain.”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭15:1-2‬ ‭NIV‬‬
