Episode Notes
Scott McDonald was a Motherwell, Celtic and Middlesbrough star. He made over 500 senior appearances for 10+ clubs, scoring nearly 200 goals.
But he went scoreless at national level, from 26 Socceroos appearances. It's 'disappointing', in his own words.
In a fascinating interview with Fox Football's Daniel Garb, McDonald doesn't shy away from any of the tough questions and is very open and honest around the challenges he faced as a footballer, and whether or not he got the most out of it all.
McDonald currently has media commitments and hopes to become a manager one day.
He was in the UAE with Garby before the Socceroos' Asian Cup QF clash against the host nation.
Scott also lists his 'best 11' of players he played with, plus reveals the best player he played alongside and against, plus with the coach that got the best out of him.
